About Coach

I played football and track in high school. My dad, a coach, instilled in me the importance of strength and fitness. I've learned in life to always be teachable, forever a student. Ask for help and lend a hand when asked. God has a plan and it's probably not the one I had in mind.

Turning Point

The turning point in my life occurred in 2009 when I was freed from the grip of active addiction & alcoholism. About a year later I found CrossFit and for the first time in many years I experienced moments where my mind was quiet. It was just me against the bar, left alone in my head to overcome the fear and doubt and defeat the voice that tells me I'm not good enough. In those moments I experienced peace and serenity. This is why I gave the gym it's name.

Motivation & Passion

My passion for coaching and leading our gym is rooted in my desire to help people change their lives. I began a health journey of my own at age 24 and after doing all the wrong things, I wanted to be able to help simplify that journey for others. I love showing people what they are physically capable of accomplishing, which leads to strength and confidence outside of the gym.
