My journey to becoming a coach has been shaped by a lifetime of experiences, lessons, and personal growth. From a young age, I was drawn to sports and physical activity, and through years of dedication, I discovered the true power of movement, nutrition, and mindset.
Growing up, I played multiple sports, always pushing myself to improve and compete at my best. Athletics taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of perseverance. Over the years, I achieved significant milestones—whether it was personal bests, championship wins, or simply overcoming obstacles that once seemed impossible. Each achievement reinforced a core belief that still guides me today: anyone can accomplish anything if given the right information, guidance, and support.
As I transitioned into coaching, I quickly learned that quick fixes don't work in the long run. Sustainable health and wellness require consistency, patience, and a commitment to the fundamentals. I realized that strength is essential for longevity, and that my desire to live a long life wasn't just about adding years—it was about making sure those years were filled with vitality, strength, and independence. I don't want to simply exist; I want to thrive, to move freely, and to maintain the energy to enjoy every moment.
I've come to understand that eating well is simple but not always easy. Our modern world complicates nutrition, making it seem overwhelming, but at its core, it's about real, nourishing food. Exercise, too, is often made unnecessarily complicated. The body is designed to move, and sometimes the simplest forms of movement—walking, stretching, lifting, playing—are the most effective.
Beyond fitness and nutrition, I’ve learned that community is everything. Friends, family, and a strong support system play a crucial role in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who uplift and encourage you makes the journey not only easier but also more fulfilling.
Nature has also been one of my greatest teachers. Sunlight, fresh air, and time spent outside have a profound impact on physical and mental well-being. The body is designed to heal itself, but it needs the right conditions—good food, movement, rest, and exposure to the natural world—to do so.
These lessons have shaped me into the coach I am today. My goal is to help others cut through the noise, to simplify health and fitness, and to empower people to take control of their well-being. I believe in building strength, nourishing the body, and creating habits that lead to a long, vibrant life. Because in the end, it’s not just about living longer—it’s about living better.
In 2013, I discovered CrossFit, and it quickly became my passion. I loved everything about it—the competition, the friendships, the challenges, and the results. I felt unstoppable like I was at the peak of my fitness and health. But in 2019, life threw me a curveball. Despite feeling like I was in peak condition, my body told me otherwise. I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The enemy in my story was not just cancer—it was also the belief that being physically fit automatically meant being truly healthy. I had to confront the reality that something deeper was going on inside my body. I took time off to focus on treatment and healing. Like so many others, I was prescribed medication to prevent the cancer from returning. But the side effects were brutal. The worst part? I was then prescribed even more medications just to combat the side effects of the first one. It felt like a never-ending cycle, and I knew I had to break free.
That was my turning point. I decided enough was enough. I needed to take back control of my health in a way that aligned with my values. I immersed myself in learning about how whole foods and exercise can support the body’s natural ability to heal. I started questioning how so many people suffer from chronic diseases, rely on medications, and yet continue to live on ultra-processed foods while leading sedentary lives. I realized that this isn’t how life is meant to be lived.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that true health is about more than just looking fit. It’s about nourishing the body with real food, moving with purpose, and creating a life filled with energy, adventure, and joy. The enemy—complacency, misinformation, and reliance on quick fixes—is one that so many people face. But I know now that we have the power to fight back.
My mission is to help others break free from this cycle, to show them that health isn’t about prescriptions and restrictions—it’s about strength, vitality, and truly living. Because life is meant to be more than just existing—it’s meant to be thriving.
I am passionate about helping people become their best selves. With proper nutrition and exercise, everyone can get there. Helping people figure out how to do what they already know to do drives me. We know that our bodies are designed to heal themselves if we take care of them. My desire is to get people to reach for whole foods and exercise over fad diets and medications.
